Editing and Deleting Messages

If you transfer the thread to another agent, they won’t be able to edit or delete your messages.

Editing Messages

To edit a message, follow these steps:

1. Activate the editing option in one of two ways:

• Point to the upper-right corner of the message and click on the icon .
• Left-click the message area and select Edit.

2. Edit the message text. Replace the attachment if necessary. To do this, delete the existing attachment using the icon and attach a new one.
3. Click on the icon to save the changes.

Your message will be updated. You can view the editing history in one of two ways:

• Click History of message edits.
• Left-click the message area and select Editing history.

If necessary, you can download the files that you attached to the message when editing. To do this, click on the download icon in the upper-right corner of the message.

Deleting Messages

To delete a message, follow these steps:

1. Activate the deletion option in one of two ways:

• Point to the upper-right corner of the message and click on the icon .
• Left-click the message area and select Delete.

2. Confirm the deletion in the window that opens.

After deleting the message, an alert is displayed in the thread.
