- Go to the Settings → Channels section in your personal edna Pulse account.
- Click Add channel and select WhatsApp.
- Specify the following parameters:
Parameter | Description |
Internal channel name | The parameter is required. Specify the internal channel name. For example, “WhatsApp for marketing”. It will be displayed in the channel list of your personal edna Pulse account. |
Channel pricing | The parameter is required. Select one of the available pricing options for the channel from the drop-down list. |
Company logo | The parameter is required. Upload an image of your company logo in JPG or JPEG format. The minimum size is 400*400 px. It will be displayed in the company profile of the WhatsApp business account. |
WhatsApp account status | Specify additional information about the channel status. For example, “Always connected”. It will be displayed as a status in the WhatsApp business account. |
Company email address | Enter the email address of the company. It will be displayed in the company profile of the WhatsApp business account. |
Company address | Enter the address of the company. It will be displayed in the company profile of the WhatsApp business account. |
- Click Continue with Facebook to open a window to register an account in Meta.
- Follow the steps in the window that opens.

After that, the channel will switch to the Under consideration status in edna Pulse.
Once the registration in Meta is complete, the channel will change to the Correct status in edna Pulse and will be ready to start sending broadcasts.
How to Register a WhatsApp Business Account
- Log in to your Facebook account in the window that opens after you click Continue with Facebook.
- Click Get started to give edna permission to manage your WhatsApp business account.
- Select or create a business portfolio for the company and click Next.
When you select a created business portfolio, information about the company is indicated automatically.
- Create a new WhatsApp business account and business profile, and click Next.
- Specify the information for the business profile in the WhatsApp business account and click Next.
- Specify the phone number to which you can receive an international call or SMS, select the confirmation method, and click Next.
- Confirm the specified phone number and click Next.
You have three attempts to confirm the phone number. You can try again after four hours and then after one day. If you can’t get the code or want to know the numbers of incoming calls, send a request to technical support support@edna.io.

Choose a different WhatsApp business account or visit the Business Support Center to resolve the issue. See more in the Meta documentation.
If your business account has been blocked due to a violation, follow the instructions.
Delete the required phone numbers from your WhatsApp business account.

To use this phone number, disconnect it from your existing WhatsApp business account. Send a request to registration@edna.io to disable two-factor authentication on an existing WhatsApp business account. If the issue persists, delete the number from your WhatsApp business account.
Your business account has been blocked due to violations. To solve the problem, follow the instructions.
The Facebook user may have been blocked from logging in to Facebook from a new device. When you try to log in, you will see a message saying that the block is temporary. Wait for the temporary block to be lifted.
