New Features
A mobile version of the agent WP is now available. When agents open their WP on mobile devices, it adapts to the device. The mobile version is available on Android 9+ and iOS 13+ in Chrome and Safari.
The functionality of the mobile WP remains the same apart from the following exceptions:
- In the mobile version, agents’ personal statistics, supervisor notifications, and response templates are currently unavailable.
- Assigning tags to threads is only available when closing threads manually, if the Tag required setting is on in the admin WP.
- In the mobile version, threads do not open in the chat area automatically, as it works in the desktop version (for example, when receiving a new thread when there are no other threads in the personal queue), so you need to tap each thread that you want to open in the queue. Then the thread history will display.
Note that iFrame mode settings (hiding areas/buttons) are ignored in the mobile version.
To start using the mobile version of the agent WP, please contact your account manager for the details.
Bug Fixes
- On the History tab of the supervisor WP, we have restored the ability to scroll messages in the thread preview window that displays when hovering over a thread in the list.
- We have fixed the behavior that caused the name and avatar of the sender of an outgoing message to not display when viewing a thread with the View all chat history option on.
- We have fixed bugs related to the inactivity warning window.
- We have fixed the issue that did not allow an agent to go inactive after the system timeout (operator.disconnect-timeout) expired, if the connection was lost.
- We have fixed the behavior that caused application components in the WP to be displayed incorrectly.
- We have adjusted the animation in the Connection restored notification.
- We have fixed the behavior based on which the formatted text sent to a client using Markdown was not always displayed correctly in the mobile SDK.
- In the web widget, we have added the ability to specify addresses containing the + symbol to the email chat fields.
